Is it just me that noticed the restraint they had while performing "Happy" to not move a muscle ! THAT must have been hard !! True professionals !! I can tell they all wanted to dance as they are used to.. Bravo !! bless you all 🙏
I know...they're playing for a fashion show! I saw the Nick Nolte-like models walking through and NOBODY was watching the models. ALL EYES will be on KTSHS Band, so anyone wanting them for the background will have their event upstaged!
I truly admire the dedication of these young people. I remember how hard it seemed to march and play an instrument (clarinet) and memorize one or two songs, then I watch this band and I am completely blown away. I would find it an honor to be able to be assistant to this group.
Just by hearing their new rendition of Sing Sing Sing, you can already tell Kyoto Tachibana's performances in 2024 at the Rose Bowl parade and Bandfest will be amazing.

I keep watching Kyoto Tachibana SHS Band because they are the best marching band I have ever had the privilege to watch, they are meticulous and in perfect step and harmony in every parade and event/concert , I keep having to remind myself that they are students, I have nothing but praise and administration for the skill and sheer hard work that each and everyone of them must do and also for the musical directors, such a pleasure to watch and listen to, big well done to every single one of them , and thank you for sharing all these wonderful videos with us bless you all. ☺😊😀😊☺👏👏👏👏👏

I am a fan of Kyoto Tachibana since the very first time I seen a video. The talent of these kids is amazing. Another amazing thing is the beauty of the girls. No makeup. They choose between 2 hairstyles and yet they are so pretty. As an example, the tall french horn player at 9:14 could be in commercials or in the movies. The smiles are perfect. A question I have is: why are there mostly girls? (not a complaint by any means) The dance moves are choreographed for the predominately female members as it seems. As a horn player I understand the dedication it takes to get this good. I am not embarrassed to say that I get emotional listening to these arrangements and how great it all sounds and looks. Thanks for uploading videos of this band.

At one time, it was an all-girls school (imagine such restrictions in American schools!), but they opened the doors to males about 25 years ago. As the other commenters have indicated, wind bands in Japan tend to attract females; the guys gravitate towards sports. The founder of the band, still alive today, says that the message the band is intended to present is a feminine one, that females inherently convey warmth and happiness. I would not disagree with that. There are times when I get a bit tired of HEARING Sing Sing Sing, but I will never tire of WATCHING the dancing that accompanies their music. It's almost always different for each of their performances. And to think that they are just high school students who do this for fun; there is zero money involved for any of them. They are simply amazing to watch and listen to.

I came across these wonderful young people for the first time today and I have been so blown away by everything they do. I have enjoyed watching a number of videos of there performances and setting aside all the various disciplines that they accomplish so very well I do hope that they have an understanding of what joy they give to others on a global scale. Total respect.

彼等も実生活を送る一人の人間です、部活動以外にも青春時代の様々な苦悩もあるかも知れませんがＤＭの合図でアーティストへ切り替わる。演奏以上に彼等のその精神力に脱帽します。

皆、最初は普通なのに、踊りながら演奏し始めると、とたんに顔が充血して真っ赤になる。もしかして、頭部を中心に、かなり酸素不足になってるんじゃない？心配になった。それでも、これだけの演奏をこなしてるのが、素晴らしすぎる。

This band is formed from the Wind Music Club of the school and in Japan, boys tend to go baseball or soccer club thus less boys in the band.

丁度、北海道から京都に来ていたんですが、残念ながら知りませんでした。ナマ橘一度見たかった！賀茂大橋のたもとで昼を食べようと入ったら、中学生の女の子たちが居て、ある吹奏楽部DMで見たようのな子だったので何かイベントが有ったのか？と不思議に思っていたのですがこの様なとこでね。知人が平安時宮の辺り、バスが迂回したとも言っていたのですが分からずに残念。
又、何かのチャンスを待ちます。

シングの時のカラーガードの子の体幹が、以前より遥かに増してて凄い！ダンス中の流れが良くて、キレはあるし、円熟味があるし、体のラインの美しさはあるし、いや～鳥肌が立ちっぱなし。（ちょっと一瞬テンポくるってたけど、、。）でも、これは最高！！褒めても褒めても褒めきれない位最高！！明日も、仕事早いから寝かせて～～、、、最後、もう一回だけ見て寝ます^^
私もカラーガードのダンスを動画で見て一目で魅了されました。

今、再度、動画を見てますが、
7:00過ぎ辺りから、徐々に徐々に曲に合わせて体がノッテいくところなんか最高ですね。カワカッコイーです。表現力も抜群です！
加えて、視線の使い方が良いので味が出てて、やっぱり、完成度が高いです。
３人ともレベルが高いですよね、人数の少なさを補ってます。
カラーガードさんのマーチングじゃないときの黒手袋もすごくかっこいいと思います！

いつもステキな動画をありがとうございます。2018さくらパレードの時から思っていたのですが、今回のように黒ジャージのズボンの方が、ステップがハッキリ見えて、より美しく感じます。あと、京都橘のSINGは初めて見たときはバンドメンバーのダンスばかり見ていましたが、色んなSINGの動画を何百回も見た最近はカラーガード隊のSINGが好きになってきています。京都橘にはカラーガード隊がなくてはならない存在なんだなぁ、とつくづく思うようになりました。
SINGの時のカラーガードのダンスが大好きです。私もカラーガード隊はなくてはならない存在だと思います。三人というのは少し寂しすぎます。
